Restaurant Sever |
The ideal candidate will be able to provide prompt and excellent service to the guest all times; To greet and seat guest when necessary; Ability to up sell food and beverages, including wines.
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs; Do all side work in a timely and efficient manner; Must be a team player and service oriented; Serve food and beverage in a courteous and professional manner; Maintain a clean work area; Capable of performing multiple tasks in a fast paced environment. Must be able to work PM shift. Prior experience required. |
Restaurant Host/Cashier |
Professional phone skills, answering room service/restaurant phones in a courteous, professional manner. Ring orders for room service, insuring prompt delivery of requested items. Greet and seat guests according to rotation or requested table. Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Supervision of dining room and room service when needed. In the absence of a manager, to insure guest satisfaction as well as shift changes and call outs. Maintain reservations book, recording reservations properly as well as other pertinent information for the day. Maintenance of all menus, outlet supplies from the storeroom. Maintain a working knowledge of outlet standards and procedures, so as to assist when necessary. Adherence to all cash and check handling procedures. Ability to obtain an alcoholic beverage license for District of Columbia. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time (eight (8) hour shifts), as well as some lifting. Prior (hotel) restaurant host/cashier exp required. |
Bartender |
Candidate will have a strong knowledge of beers, wines, alcoholic beverages, and mixology; knowledge of food; be able to provide prompt and excellent service to guests at all times; be able to do all side work in a timely and efficient manner; enthusiastic, outgoing personality; good organizational skills, tendering checks/cash handling; up-selling/suggestive selling skills; must be a team player and service oriented; able to work flexible and long hours and be able to work holidays and weekends; capable of performing multiple tasks in fast paced environment. Should also have knowledge of micros; have been a bartender in a fast paced, full service bar/cash handling and have two years experience in a upscale hotel environment. |
